The Editor’s Letter at VibeLovely. A monthly note from the Editor-in-Chief, setting the month’s theme. What we paid attention to this month, what we are working on, what we are reading elsewhere, and what we hope you carry into the next four weeks. Personal, opinionated, signed. The letter sits at the top of every month’s editorial arc and is reprinted in the Sunday Reset newsletter on the first Sunday of each month.

What the Letter is

Not an essay. Not a column piece. A note from the editor — the version of correspondence you would send a friend on the first of the month, if you had one friend who happened to run a magazine for the moments between people. The letter is a way for the EIC to set context, name the month’s theme, and make the publication feel like it is being put together by humans for humans.

Cadence

• First Monday of every month — the new letter publishes on the site
• First Sunday Reset newsletter — the letter is reprinted in full at the top

What every letter does

• Names the month’s theme — what the editorial team is paying attention to
• Includes one specific cultural moment, observation, or piece of reading the EIC found useful
• Closes with a reader invitation — a question, an ask, an open inbox

The letter author

Written by the Editor-in-Chief. Signed with a real name, a real handwriting-style sign-off, and a real published bio. The letter does not carry a reviewer credential block (it is not YMYL) but it does carry the canonical citation block at the bottom.
